Governments

A Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare (UDAW) is supported by a growing list of governments and key ministries from countries around the world including Fiji, Cambodia, Sweden, the Seychelles, Colombia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Palau, Australia, India, Bahrain, Croatia, Costa Rica, Norway and Thailand. Most recently, 27 members of the European Union added their voices as a bloc, making it the first regional forum to support UDAW.

Animal welfare groups

WSPA works in close partnership with a core group of animal protection organizations including the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Compassion in World Farming (CIWF), Humane Society International (HSI), International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA). Hundreds of other animal protection organizations worldwide are involved in promoting the campaign, including these here in Canada:
